In den vergangen Wochen wurde viel über Kurdistan, Nord-Syrien und Rojava wegen der türkischen Invasion berichtet. déi Lénk organisiert eine Konferenz zum Thema Rojava, da es uns unerlässlich erscheint über das selbstverwaltete, demokratische, feministische und ökologische Projekt das dahinter steckt zu reden. Es ist Zeit sich mit der Revolution die 2012 begann zu beschäftigen und die Hintergründe beginnen zu verstehen.
Zwei kurdische Genoss*innen des KNK(1) werden uns über die Geschichte Kurdistans und die politischen und philosophischen Ideen der Bewegung berichten.
Die Konferenz wird in Deutsch und Englisch abgehalten mit Übersetzung ins Französische.

Les dernières semaines le Kurdistan, la Syrie du Nord et le Rojava ont été dans l’actualité à cause de l’invasion turque. déi Lénk prend l’initiative de cette conférence, car nous jugeons indispensable d’adresser le projet démocratique, auto-administré, féministe et écologiste du Rojava. Il est temps de commencer à comprendre comment la révolution au Rojava s’est mise en place depuis 2012.
Deux camarades kurdes du KNK(1) vont venir nous raconter la riche histoire kurde et les propos politiques et philosophiques formulés par le mouvement.
La conférence sera tenue en allemand et anglais avec traduction simultanée vers le français.

The last couple of weeks Kurdistan, Northern Syria and Rojava have been in the news because of the Turkish invasion. déi Lénk feels it is necessary to also address the democratic, self administered, feminist and ecological project of Rojava. It is time to shine a light on the revolution in Rojava since 2012 and understanding how it came to take place.
We will hear about Kurdish history and the political and philosophical thoughts formed by the movement by two comrades from KNK (1).
The conference will be held in German and English with translation into French.

(1) The Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) is a coalition of organisations from across Europe, formed by exiled Kurdish politicians, lawyers, and activists.
